Wedding Dessert Inspirations!

I haven’t made a definitive decision on what we’re doing for dessert for our wedding. I just know it probably won’t be the traditional grooms and brides cakes… get excited!  Here are some inspirational mood boards I put together to show the 4 potential baker-vendors I am meeting with in Houston this weekend. I figured I should be organized and show them photos of what I want instead of trying to explain it verbally (that could go on forever!)

NOTE:  These mood boards were put together VERY quickly and are sloppy (SORRY!) These were for personal use, then I decided – eh, why not blog about it?!

Wedding Flower Inspirations

I’m meeting with 4 potential florist vendors in Houston this weekend (+ 4 potential baker vendors), so I thought (being the super “Type A” that I am) I should make mood boards to bring to each/all florist to show them what inspires me and what I’m leaning towards, but can’t put into words.  Flowers are a big player in the wedding decor (for me) but I don’t want to over do it…  I want tight, but big blooms (hydrangeas, peonies, ranunculus, etc…) There’s so much more I don’t even know about!

NOTE: These mood boards were put together VERY quickly and are SLOPPY with weird spacing – (Sorry)…  but they make their point and that’s what matters! :)

Lauren & Brian's (our) engagement photos in Dallas, TX

So I’m usually the one TAKING the photos… this time I was on the other side of the camera fora change. Weird. We had the pleasure of Dixie Dixon taking our engagement photos. She was a lot of fun to work with and produced some great images and worked easily with my desired shots.  (Thanks Dixie!)

Enjoy!
