I had the privilege of taking the Ray Family photos at the Dallas Arboretum on Saturday afternoon. It was one of the most beautiful weather days we’ve had in a while… Fall was truly rolling in… and so was an un-planned rainy afternoon. Kelsey, my friend / assistant for the afternoon and I arrived at [...]

I’m pretty sure God is really challenging me with problem solving regarding my past hand full of photo shoots. The last 3 on-location shoots I’ve had, have resulted in CRAZY weather, which we’ve had to work around THAT day due to time constraints/deadlines. It usually results in some great shots, but takes a lot of [...]

I’ve been a little behind on blogging lately. My blog posts have mostly been saturated with posting photos from recent photo gigs/events, etc.. and not much “writing.” But that’s ok with me- it means I’m taking more pictures! Here are some photos from a wedding I helped Carissa Byers shoot. It was a fun wedding [...]

Here are some photos I recently shot for ENVY Magazine for the Elan at Bluffview apartment buildings “Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.” It is a beautiful building- just from judging the first floor area of the building! The people working there were very nice, as well.

The world is a small place! I found my current tailor/custom alterations guy by doing a Google search for local tailor shops in Dallas. I found a local listing for one that seemed legit (had good reviews) and was close by, so I tried him out. He is just as good as his reviews claim! [...]

I’m not sure how I came across it, but I landed on the MCP Actions site/blog… and purchased some Photoshop actions. I was so excited to use them, as I’ve seen other phtoographer’s I’ve been following (on Twitter) and reading their blog use them, that I couldn’t wait! You’ll see the photos below have all [...]

I met some girlfriends at a great location for lunch today, but beforehand I Googled “restuarants Dallas” to find a nice little lunch spot. I kept re-Googling/attempting until I found a few good places in my desired area… and BAM! I came across SNAPPY SALADS. Great discovery. The location I went to was at Preston [...]

Hurricane Ike 9/12/2008 3:35 PM
Talk about people hunkering down. Ever since Hurricane Katrina destroyed New Orleans & surrounding areas a few years back, any time any type of storm hits near the gulf, people go into panic and preparation mode. This of course is a good thing, but sometimes it may seem like a little [...]
